At St. Elizabeth, the sacrament of Baptism is rooted in a beautiful story of faith and family that begins with our patroness, Elizabeth—the mother of John the Baptist. It was John who, guided by the Holy Spirit, prepared the way for Christ and baptized his own cousin, Jesus, in the waters of the Jordan. This sacred connection reminds us that Baptism is both deeply personal and profoundly communal: a moment where God calls each of us into new life, just as He did through John’s ministry and within Elizabeth’s faithful witness. 

Here at St. Elizabeth, we joyfully continue this tradition, welcoming new members into the Body of Christ and supporting families as they begin or renew their journey of faith.

Baptisms are usually scheduled at 11:30am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.  Baptisms are not celebrated during the Liturgical seasons of Lent or Advent.
