Gathering Hymn Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the Morning our song shall rise to thee:
Holy, Holy, Holy! Merciful and mighty,
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity.
Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore thee,
Casting down their golden crowns
around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.
Holy, Holy, Holy! Though the darkness hide thee,
Though the eye made blind by sin
thy glory may not see,
Only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
Perfect in Power, in love, and purity.

Opening Prayer
Let us pray. Prayer to St. Elizabeth
O glorious St. Elizabeth,
beloved friend and relative of Mary, Mother of God,
Mother of the great herald of Christ,
St. John the Baptist,
and patroness of our parish,
we come before you
and ask that you help us to obtain
the wish nearest our heart.
Grant O God, that we may ever be
faithful followers of St. Elizabeth;
that our homes, like hers,
may be filled with the Holy Spirit;
that our feet, like hers,
may walk in the ways of the Lord;
and that our lips, like hers,
may ever break forth in triumphant song
to give the frightened Mary
affirmation and confidence:
“Blessed art you among women
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus”.
We ask this prayer through our patroness Elizabeth
and through the example of the passion
and death of Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Rite of Blessing of a Child in the Womb
God, Author of all life,
Bless, + we pray, these unborn children;
Give them constant protection
And grant them a healthy birth
That is the sign of our rebirth one day
Into the eternal rejoicing of heaven.
Lord, who have brought to these women
The wondrous joy of motherhood,
Grant them comfort in all anxiety
And make them determined to lead their children
along the ways of salvation.
Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Sending Forth Hymn:
Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones.
Ye watchers and ye holy ones,
bright seraphs, cherubim, and thrones,
raise the glad strain, Alleluia!
Cry out, dominions, princedoms, powers,
virtues, archangels, angels' choirs:
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Respond, ye souls in endless rest,
ye patriarchs and prophets blest,
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Ye holy twelve, ye martyrs strong,
all saints triumphant, raise the song:
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
